Foothills Food Hub – Terms of Service
Order Agreement
Each order you place through Foothills Food Hub constitutes a legally binding contract. By placing an order, you agree to pay for the items selected.
Food Quality
We conduct a quality check of all incoming produce from our partner farms to ensure freshness and condition. However, please note that locally grown food may not always resemble the uniform appearance of grocery store produce. Our farmers use sustainable practices—often organic or chemical-free—which can result in variation in size, shape, or minor cosmetic imperfections. These differences are a natural part of real, farm-grown food and do not affect quality or nutrition.
Cold Chain Responsibility
We maintain the cold chain for all perishable products up to the point of delivery. Once delivery has been made, responsibility for maintaining proper food storage temperatures transfers to the customer. If you will not be home to receive your order, we recommend leaving a cooler with ice packs on your porch or designated delivery location. If no cooler is present, we will still leave your order, but we are not responsible for any spoilage or quality issues resulting from food being left unrefrigerated.
Food Safety & Liability
While we work closely with our farmers to ensure safe handling practices, Foothills Food Hub and our farm partners are not liable for any foodborne illness or perceived food-related illness resulting from the consumption of items purchased through our marketplace. By purchasing through Foothills Food Hub, you accept this risk and agree to handle and prepare your food according to standard food safety guidelines.
