At Foothills Food Hub, a program of McDowell Local Food Advisory Council, we believe good food should connect people—to each other, to the land, and to the farmers who grow it. That’s why we’re excited to now offer an online marketplace where you can order fresh, local food each week from farmers and producers right here in our region and state.
By working hand-in-hand with local and regional farmers and producers, we make it easier for them to share their harvests with the community. You’ll find high-quality, seasonal food that’s grown and produced right here in our region—available to you on a weekly basis. Plus, we will continue to offer diversity in our product offerings. When you order from Foothills Food Hub, you're not just filling your fridge—you’re getting produce harvested straight from the ground just for you, while investing in a stronger local food system, supporting small farms, and helping to keep our agricultural land thriving for generations to come.

How does it work?
2. Browse Products and shop Monday-Wednesday
The best time to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables is Wednesday between 10 am and midnight. That's when the widest variety of produce will be available to shop from. Confirm your order before Wednesday at Midnight
Add a cooler bag & ice packs to your order if you'd like your order delivered in a cooler bag.
Click "Add Notes" at checkout to give instructions for your delivery driver.
3. Expect your grocery delivery on Tuesday!
If you won't be home, and you didn't order a cooler bag, leave a cooler with ice out.
